The music of John Coltrane is a constant inspiration to me. I am not a musician and do not appreciate it on any technical level, but his ability to inject power and emotion into his music never ceases to amaze and affect me. Nowhere is this more apparent than his classic A Love Supreme. This piece is taken from Victor Kalin's original 1961 photo which he then used to create the beautiful drawing on the inner sleeve of the album. My drawing is a humble tribute to both the art on the record and on the sleeve. |
