Equinoxe
is based on Jean-Michel Jarre's second album. Released in 1978, it built
on the hypnotic electronica of its predecessor Osygene by adding a more
driving rhythm and a layered structure. I have represented this in the
painting by a more linear structure and warmer colours. There are two companion pieces - Oxygene and Magnetic Fields. |
