Life in Colour

A study from life class. I like to use non-representative colours in life studies, and pastels allow me to use the build-up-and-remove technique I use in my paintings ad infinitum. Their tendency to fall off the sugar paper means the drawing is constantly being reshaped and recoloured, as if it is being moulded from clay.
