Mountains Turned Into Clouds

I don't paint literal scenes often, but I love landscapes. Mountains Turned Into Clouds was born out of a selection of photographs from Scotland and New Zealand and is therefore a sort of geological caprice of the two most naturally beautiful nations on Earth.

The title of the piece is from Steve Hackett's musical interpretation of A Midsummer Night's Dream which I listened to a lot whilst painting this piece.
